Streamlining Progress Claim Checks in Lentune: A Comprehensive Guide

Introduction

In this article, we'll take you through the process of checking in a progress claim in Lentune and getting it ready for approval. This is an essential step in the invoicing process. Let's dive in.


Section 1: Accessing Progress Claims

Accessing Progress Claims

  • Click the Invoice Automation > Check menu.
  • When a progress claim appears on your screen, click on it.
  • Ensure that the correct supplier is selected.

Section 2: Converting to Payable Claim

Converting the Claim

  • In the top-right corner, click the More drop-down.
  • Select the option Convert to Payable Claim.

Section 3: Sending to Subcontractor Check Screen

Skipping Claim Check

If you are not ready to check the claim at this stage:

  • Click Save in the top-right corner.
  • The claim will be sent to your subcontractor Check screen for further action.

Completing Claim Check

  • Follow these steps:
    • Allocate the specific contract for that supplier.
    • Correct any date discrepancies.
    • Verify the claim reference.
    • Ensure the invoice due date is correct.
    • Confirm the assignment to the appropriate approver.
  • Once you're satisfied with this information, click the dropdown arrow on the Save button and mark it as checked.

Tip: If you decide to check the claim, it will now be in the Claims approval screen for the approver to assess.


Section 4: Checking Progress Claims

If you skipped the claim check initially:

  • Click the small Home button to exit the current screen.
  • Click Payment Claims on the top men bar.

Checking Claims

  • On the left-hand side, click Check.
  • Here, you'll need to check that the information is correct and check the claim in for approval.

Invoice marked as a claim in error

If you have accidentally marked a non-claim invoice as a claim, you can send it back to the invoice check screen.

  • Go to Payment Claims > Check
  • Highlight the invoice you want to move.
  • Click More.
  • Select Convert to invoice.

The invoice will now be visible in your invoice check screen to be processed.
